COURT GRANTED FEMI FANI KAYODE BAIL FOR 250 MILLION NAIRA
A Federal High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State just granted bail to former Minister of Aviation in the past administration, Chief Femi Fani Kayode. The bail sum is 250million naira.
FFK is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for an alleged fraud of 4.9 billion naira.Justice Muslim Hassan, while granting the bail ordered the defendant to provide two sureties in like sum and also deposit his passport in the custody of the court pending the outcome of the case.
The sureties are to present evidence of tax clearance in the state and as usual, the sureties must be owners of landed properties within the court’s jurisdiction.
